Content Repurposer — One Piece, Six Formats

One thing you already made goes in; the other formats come out — a blog outline, a thread, three short-form scripts cut from the strongest moments, a newsletter blurb and five captions. Nothing new is invented: repurposing is re-cutting, not re-researching.

This is a cloud tool. The piece you paste is sent to the model. It is work you have already published, or are about to; if it is under embargo, wait. Nothing is stored by us; the call is counted against your month’s allowance — 10 free, 300 on Pro. How the AI tools handle data.

Tips

  • A transcript with timestamps gives you the best result: each short-form script comes back with the time it starts, so the cuts are already located in the footage.
  • Nothing new is added. If a caption needs a number the source does not have, it comes back in square brackets — because the fastest way to spread a mistake is to repurpose it into five places.
  • Read "what does not travel" before you post the rest. It is usually the part that made the original worth making, and knowing it does not survive the cut is the difference between repurposing and diluting.
  • The three short-form scripts are cut from single moments, not summaries of the whole. A Short that tries to be the whole video in forty seconds is why most of them do not work.
  • The blog outline is a plan, not prose. Paste it into the Long-Form Article Writer as the brief and the written version keeps the same spine.

Frequently asked questions

Is posting the same thing everywhere a good idea?

Posting the same file everywhere is not; re-cutting the same idea for each place is how most people publish. Each format here is written to its own shape rather than reformatted — the thread is not the blog post with line breaks, and the captions do not repeat each other.

Will it give me the video clips?

No — it gives you the words and the moment they come from. Everything here is text; the cutting happens in your editor. Where the source has timestamps, each short-form script carries the time it starts, which is what you need to find it.

Can I go the other way, from a post to a video?

Yes. Choose "Blog post or article" as what it is and the three short-form scripts and the thread come from the post. For a full video script from scratch, the YouTube & Vlog Script Writer starts from a brief instead.
