AI for Business
YouTube & Vlog Script Writer
A topic in; a script you can read to camera out — a hook worth the first fifteen seconds, a beat-by-beat outline whose timings add up to the length you asked for, the spoken words in full, one call to action, and a B-roll list for the edit.
This is a cloud tool. The topic and notes you type are sent to the model. A sponsor or a collaboration you have not announced belongs out of the box until you have. Nothing is stored by us; the call is counted against your month’s allowance — 10 free, 300 on Pro. How the AI tools handle data.
Tips
- The timings are the reason to use it. Every beat carries a duration, the durations add up to the length you chose, and the outline ends with the total — so you can cut a beat and know exactly what it buys you.
- Give it your own numbers and your own failures. Everything specific in the script comes from the brief; everything the brief does not say comes back as [your example here], which is the list of places only you can fill.
- Read the hook out loud before you film it. Fifteen seconds is about thirty-five words, and a hook that needs forty is a hook that has already lost.
- Twelve minutes is the longest it writes in one run — roughly 1,700 words of speech. For a twenty-minute essay, script it in two halves and join them; the second half writes better when you paste the first in as part of the brief.
- B-roll is listed against the timestamp it belongs to, which is the shot list for the day you actually have the camera out.
Frequently asked questions
Will the timings really add up?
That is what the prompt spends most of its words on: whole-second durations, a running start time, and a total line at the end. It gets there in practice, but it is arithmetic done by a language model — glance at the total before you rely on it, and if a beat is wrong it is one number to change.
Does it sound like me?
Not by itself. It writes clean spoken English in the tone you pick and leaves the personal parts marked for you to fill. The scripts that work are the ones where you paste in your own stories and numbers first; the ones that sound like everyone else are the ones written from a one-line topic.
Can it write a Short?
Choose 60 seconds and it writes to that: a five-second hook, three to five beats, and about 145 words. The Content Repurposer will also cut three short-form scripts out of a long video you have already made.
Will YouTube penalise an AI-written script?
YouTube’s rules are about what the video is, not what wrote the first draft: it acts against spam, impersonation and mass-produced content that helps nobody. A script you wrote from your own experience, edited and performed, is not that. A hundred videos generated from nothing are.
