1. The short version
Every calculator and converter on 1234Tools runs entirely in your browser. Whatever you type into a tool — numbers, dates, text, images — is processed on your device and is never transmitted to us, stored by us, or seen by us. There is no account, no database and no analytics tracking your usage of the tools themselves.
2. Who we are
1234Tools is operated by MVR IT Services LTD (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 10251131), registered office in Reading, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the limited data described below.
Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@xleshop.com.
3. What we do collect
- Contact form messages. If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to our inbox via a third-party form processor (FormSubmit.co) so we can reply. This is the only personal data we receive.
- A theme preference. If you switch between light, dark or system theme, that single choice is saved in your browser's local storage so it's remembered next visit. It never leaves your device.
- Hosting logs. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub, Inc. may log IP addresses and request metadata for security and operational purposes, independently of us. See GitHub's Privacy Statement.
- Web fonts. Page fonts (Sora, Inter) are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.
4. Why we use it, and for how long
Contact form data is used solely to respond to your message and is kept only as long as needed for that, and no longer than 24 months. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries sent to us.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you — in practice, this means the content of any message you've sent us. Email contact@xleshop.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
6. Cookies
See the Cookie Policy for the (minimal) storage this site uses.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top shows the current version.
